Pethealth Inc. today announced the launch of the PetPoint Lite™ animal management system designed specifically for the needs of Animal Rescue Organizations. PetPoint Lite will be available free of charge to these organizations across the U.S. and Canada, in early June.

May 14th, 2008 - Pethealth Launches On-line Adoptable Search for Shelters and Animal Welfare Organizations
Pethealth announced today the introduction of live search for lost and adoptable pets for shelters and animal welfare organizations running PetPoint®. Animal data can now appear instantly on the search function of a shelter’s web site, allowing pet owners to search for lost pets and potential pet parents to search for adoptable animals.
PetPoint has eased our adoption process not only for us, but for our adopters, as well. With the 24PetWatch Microchip and the ShelterCare Gift Policy automatically being registered, it allows our adopters to focus on the animal once in the home, rather than having to sort out paperwork. Also, our monthly reports that are required for the Maddie’s Pet Rescue Project have become tremendously easier to generate. The changes and improvements that are continuously being made to PetPoint, make ease of use better everyday. We are very glad we have switched and we would recommend PetPoint to other shelters.
