This screen is used to setup the Contracts and other documents you will be providing to your clients, also add customized text to other printouts like Receipts, and Spay/Neuter Certificates.

Contracts by Subtype

Additionally, if you wish to have a separate contract for any Subtype you have listed for an operation, you can choose to enter the contract text here.  This gives you an unlimited number of contracts and situations you can record your own custom text in, because the Subtypes are customizable by your administrators. (Add/Edit Field Values: Operation SubType)

Contract Subtypes are especially helpful in the following situations:

Your group provides a separate contract for offsite adoptions than the usual one used when adoptions are onsite.  The terms for the two types of adoptions are different, and can be recorded by sub type.

Your organization would like to produce a separate contract for the police or animal control to sign when a stray animal is dropped off.  This contract differs in content from what you have the public sign when they drop off a found stray.

You have several different types of vouchers you wish to produce for local veterinarians, you can indicate through additional sub types the specific location of the hospital and contact information on your spay/neuter vouchers and regular vouchers found in the Care Voucher menu.


How to Add Contract Text

  1. Select the contract you wish to customize from the Please select a report drop down menu.  Select the Contract SubType, or leave it as Default if there is only one contract to enter.  You may give this contract a title if you wish, to replace the operation type as the Contract Title in the top left corner of the contract.

  2. Type or paste in language you want to use for the contract into the white text-editing box in the center of the screen.  Format the text as desired using the toolbar buttons.

  3. Click Submit to save the contract.

Repeat the above steps for EACH contract you wish to customize.


Contract Content

Each Contract will have specific information included at the top of the report.  For this reason, you will not need to include anything in PetPoint Contracts that refer to the Animal Details, Person Details or Organization Info entered under the Add/Edit Company Info screen.

How to Preview your Contracts

  1. Select the contract you wish to preview from the Please select a contract drop down menu.

  2. Click the dark green Preview button at the bottom of the page.  This will open up a new window displaying the contract you have created.

How to Print a Contract

During various PetPoint operations you are given a chance to print a contract.  In the example of an adoption you would first open the Contract window by clicking on the appropriate link on the confirmation screen.

Once the contract is open and you verify the animal and person information is correct, click the Print Contract button at the top or bottom of the window.
