What is Care Final Euthanasia?
Care Final Euthanasia is the second step of a euthanasia for an animal that allows you to record details of the euthanasia, who it was performed by, and mark the animal as deceased.

Prior to These Steps - This help file documents the second step in the Euthanasia process. You will need to first enter the animal through Outcome Euthanasia before you can use this screen.
Step 1 - Select the animal that you would like to enter Euthanasia information for. All animals that are in pre-euthanasia status will appear on this list.

Step 2 - Once selected, you can enter in the euthanasia details. Method, Substance, Amount Used and Performed By are all required fields. If needed, you can add in more than one Substance and Amount. You can also show other details like Amount Wasted, Container Number, Body Weight and Jurisdiction.

Step 3 - Click Submit after the details are entered. When successful the system will display a message of: Euthanasia is saved for Animal

The animal is now considered:
P Status: Deceased
P Stage: Released
P Location: Released
