When determining if you wish to utilize the ability in PetPoint to create Gift Cards and Vouchers, and use them as currency in your receipts, you have the ability to set up some of the more advanced features of those options here.

Expiry Date - Checking the Required box will require an expiration date is recorded for each Gift Card or Voucher
Validation - When checked, all Vouchers and Gift Cards must have a unique number. The system will Validate that the number you are manually entering has not been used before.
Validation Override - This determines if only Administrators have the ability to override validation, or if you wish to allow Power Users or Managers to do this task.
Auto Populate - Checking this box lets PetPoint create a Voucher or Gift Certificate number automatically for you. when using this check box, Validation and Validation Override do not need to be used because each number PetPoint assigns to a Gift Card or Voucher will be unique.

If you do not choose Auto Populate, then you will need to enter a Certificate number here (which can contain letters as well). Once the receipt is Submitted, the Voucher number appears on the receipt.
