Background: Mr. Zeidman joined Pethealth Inc. after 7 years as the Director of Information Technology of New York City's Center for Animal Care and Control, one of the nation's largest animal shelter systems. Previous to being appointed the company's CTO, he was Pethealth's Director of Information Technology. In addition to CACC, he has 5 years experience in non-profit management and operations. Mr. Zeidman has received a BS in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a MS in Information Systems from City University of New York. At home, he enjoys his 2 dogs, both rescued from shelters.
Background: Mr. Warden is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and the School of Business at Wilfrid Laurier University. He has over 25 years of General Insurance Management experience, both Company & Brokerage, in Underwriting, Claims, Administration, Sales, Marketing and Business Development. Mr. Warden is insurance licensed in 9 provinces and 24 states, a Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) and a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of Canada. John is responsible for the development and launch of the PetPoint Commercial Insurance Program.
Gilberto Gandra Director of North American Shelter Outreach
Primary Responsibilities: To build and expand relationships between Pethealth Inc and Animal Welfare Organizations, maximizing the mutual benefits to both parties.
Background: Mr. Gandra is a graduate of the University of Toronto and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He has held various managerial positions in the insurance and non-insurance sectors of the company since joining in 2000.
Andrei Cornienco Director of Information Technology
Primary Responsibilities: Strategic development and support of Pethealth's IT, services and software systems. Background: Mr. Cornienco joined Pethealth's IT Team in 2002 as a Software Developer. He has since gone on to hold positions within the company as Manager of QA and Reports as well as Assistant Director of IT Services. Mr. Cornienco was a key member of the team which created the PetPoint Animal Management Software System and as Pethealth's Director of Information Technology Services, is actively involved in its ongoing support and development. Mr. Cornienco holds degrees in both Nuclear Engineering from Odessa State University (Ukraine) and Computer Science from Kishinev State University (Moldova).
Primary Responsibilities: Oversight of the Implementation & Support Teams for PetPoint, as well as serving as a business analyst for new features in PetPoint.
Background: Brad has worked in the animal welfare field since 1994, and has filled numerous roles at the local level including euthanasia technician, adoption counselor, animal control officer, volunteer coordinator/ trainer, and executive director. His national experience includes working with the ASPCA National Shelter Outreach team and as the Customer Support Supervisor for PetWhere shelter software. Brad now promotes and supports the PetPoint software program as well as other programs and services available to animal welfare organizations. His three cats, all shelter alumni, graciously share their home with him.
Mary Bart Houston Regional Director of Shelter Outreach & PetPoint Community Host
Primary Responsibilities: To build and expand relationships between Pethealth Inc and Animal Welfare Organizations, maximizing the mutual benefits to both parties in the states of FL, NC, SC, GA, LA, MS and AL. Mary Bart is also the host of PetPoint Community.
Background: While working in Los Angeles for a commerical production company, Mary Bart began volunteering for PAWS-LA (Pets Are Wonderful Support- Los Angeles) where its clients are living with a terminal illness. PAWS-LA provides food, veterinarian services, and financial assistance to its clients' pets. Realizing this was her calling, Mary Bart began attending classes at University of California in Los Angeles specializing in fundraising for non-profits and grant writing courses to name a few. Mary Bart later moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and began volunteering at a local shelter where she was later hired. Mary Bart was the Director of Operations for a Humane Society receiving over 9,000 dogs and cats annually. This is where Mary Bart learned of Pethealth, Inc and had firsthand experience with its programs and services. Mary Bart decided to further her career in animal welfare and joined the family of Pethealth, Inc in June 2008 to help more animals in more places. Mary Bart graduated from the University of North Carolina in Wilmington in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Mass Media concentration. Mary Bart currently resides in West Palm Beach with her five very spoiled dogs- Moses, Bugsy, Irwin, Penny and Micky.
Jorge Ortega Regional Director of Shelter Outreach
Primary Responsibilities: To build and expand relationships between Pethealth Inc and Animal Welfare Organizations, maximizing the mutual benefits to both parties in the state of Texas.
Background: Mr. Ortega is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico with an Associate degree in Animal Health Science. He has worked in the animal welfare field since 1992, and has filled numerous roles at the local level including veterinary technician, animal rescue technician, cruelty investigator, kennel manager and operations director. His experience also includes working with HSUS as Manager of Disaster Services and as a consultant for San Juan Animal Care and Control in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He, his wife and two children live in Katy, TX where they share a home with their three dogs and a tortoise – Mo, Subi, Taina and Leo.
Primary Responsibilities: To build and expand relationships between Pethealth Inc and Animal Welfare Organizations, maximizing the mutual benefits to both parties in the states of OH, NJ and PA.
Background: Tammy Fox began working in animal welfare in 1994. Since then she has managed or directed animal welfare organizations in Austin TX, Lancaster PA, and Key West FL. Her background ranges from managing a no-kill shelter in Austin, holding the Managing Director of Operations of an open admission shelter handling over 13,000 animals in Lancaster, and holding the Executive Director position for an open admission facility with a municipal contract in Key West. This diversity has given Ms. Fox a well rounded picture of animal welfare and the different philosophies which all work toward the same goal.
Tammy graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science in Humane Leadership. She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Community Leadership. Tammy currently resides in Lancaster PA with her husband, 4 month old son, and 4 dogs-T-rampasaurus, Nay Nay, Rylee and Spanky, and a cockatiel named Bird.
Regional Director of Shelter Outreach
Primary Responsibilities: To build and expand relationships between Pethealth Inc and Animal Welfare Organizations, maximizing the mutual benefits to both parties in the states of UT, KS, CO, NV.
Background: Patty has a Computer Science degree and has worked in the software industry for over 15 years, with emphasis on development, sales, and post-sales training and implementation. She has spent many hours volunteering at local animal shelters where she has been committed to improving the lives of animals and animal welfare organizations. She knew she had found her calling when she learned that she could combine her background in software, her skills in training and customer relations, and her passion for “saving the puppies”. Patty now lives in Boulder, Colorado, and hopes to add to her family with another shelter dog (or twelve).

Background: Roma has a degree is Science and a Post Graduate Degree in Research Analysis. She has many years in Sales and Management in various fields. She has a great passion for Animal Welfare and enjoys spending time with her one cat.
Margo Smythe Associate - North American Shelter Outreach
Primary Responsibilities: To build and expand relationships between Pethealth Inc and Animal Welfare Organizations, maximizing the mutual benefits to both parties.
Background: Margo is a graduate of the University of Toronto and holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts. She came to Pethealth in 2008 after living and working abroad. At home, Margo enjoys the company of her large four legged friend, Brixton.
Primary Responsibilities: Application of EVE, ShelterCare and 24PetWatch programs to shelter and veterinary organizations.
Background: Sharon has been with Pethealth since January of 2006. She has a background in various Administration and Marketing fields along with sales and management. Sharon has volunteered a lot of her time at a local clinic and shelter walking dogs, grooming, feeding and helping with reception duties.
Primary Responsibilities: Administrative support of 24PetWatch and PetPoint to animal welfare organizations across North America.
Background: Dianah served as the Office Coordinator at a non-profit membership organization for 13 years. Her responsibilities included handling the CPE accreditation, Membership/Meeting information and Office Management and Database Administration.
Dianah joined Pethealth in August of 2005. She has a background in office management and sales.
Kathy Sherwood PetPoint Implementation & Support Team Lead, Pethealth Software Solutions
Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for the daily operations of the Implementation & Support Teams, as well as provision of implementation, training, and support for PetPoint to animal welfare organizations in North America.
Background: Kathy comes to Pethealth with 15 years of Customer service and 16 years of IT Consulting/Management experience. Kathy has developed and managed 8 separate Help Desks for small and multinational companies such as; BP Amoco, Oce USA and was Sr. Consultant on POS system for Firestone stores nationwide, plus IT Manager of Stagnito Communications.
After returning to the work force from semi-retirement; living most of the last four years in Jamaica, Kathy searched for a company where she could use her technical skills to benefit others. Kathy and her husband are looking to give a home to a shelter dog in the near future. Kathy has a Marine Son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter.
Lori Buchowicz PetPoint Implementation & Support, Pethealth Software Solutions
Primary Responsibilities: Provision of implementation, training, and support for PetPoint to animal welfare organizations in North America.
Background: After a background working in Sales & Marketing, Lori had a decade long career working as a Systems Engineer where some of her duties included developing new applications and providing Quality Assurance. Simultaneous to her career, Lori spent her off hour time helping pets from county pounds into the care of rescues and shelters while working on animal rights legislation. She then decided to pursue an opportunity incorporating her passion for pets and her past professional skills to work for Pethealth. Lori shares her life with her four large rescue dogs.
Primary Responsibilities: Provision of implementation, training, and support for PetPoint to animal welfare organizations in North America.
Background: Pam has been working directly with animals since 1997. She has worked with the Humane Society / Animal Control agency in Redding, California in a number of roles, from adoptions to community functions. Pam first learned about Pethealth, Inc. while working at Haven Humane Society, and joined the team to help promote the programs that she believes in. Pam has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of San Diego.
Primary Responsibilities: Provision of implementation, training, and support for PetPoint to animal welfare organizations in North America, as well as oversight of PetPoint’s online help system.
Background: Melissa has worked directly with animals in the Veterinary field since 2001. She served as the System Administrator at a local veterinary hospital where she also held the roles of Inventory Manager, Receptionist and Vet Assistant. She has a degree in Small Business Management & Entrepreneurship from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois . Melissa currently lives north of Dallas, Texas with her three cats: Annie, Stimpy, and Bubba Kat and is very excited about the opportunity to help animal welfare organizations learn and use PetPoint.
Meg Earsley PetPoint Implementation & Support, Pethealth Software Solutions
Primary Responsibilities: Provision of implementation, training, and support for PetPoint to animal welfare organizations in North America.
Background: Meg has worked in the Information Technology field since 1997 and joined the animal welfare community in 2002. She has enjoyed many different roles in that time including technical support, network administration, web development and statistical analysis. Meg was the "original" PetPoint Administrator and helped design and beta test PetPoint as it was implemented in our very first shelter, the Wisconsin Humane Society. Meg was drawn to the opportunity to assist the shelters and rescues using Petpoint in such a tangible way. She shares her home with a variety of birds, rodents, rabbits and Tinkerbell, a beautiful super-senior pug.

Background: After graduating with a degree in E-commerce Trevor worked for Pethealth, Inc. for three years in various departments, including PetPoint, ShelterCare, and 24PetWatch. He took a year off to travel abroad and teach English in Japan, and rejoined the PetPoint Team after returning to Canada in mid-2008. He currently lives in Niagara Falls with this girlfriend along with Jake, their 11-year old golden retriever, and Tessa, their 5 year old Bermin Cat.
Dav Virk Online Application Support , Pethealth Software Solutions
Primary Responsibilities: Provision of technical support for the EVE and EPE applications, as well as secondary support for PetPoint.
Background: Originally born in the U.K. and well educated in math, statistics, computer programming and Information Technology, Dav now provides technical support for the PetPoint shelter software program. Having come to Pethealth in 2004, his responsibilities include providing PetPoint users with technical support and ensuring uninterrupted data access.
