definitely the best shelter management program
We were keeping all of our pet information in file folders, and it was difficult to keep track of who was due for vaccinations, when appointments were made and for which animals, and so on. We started PetPoint, and it was taught in easily palatable lessons, with time to play with what was learned before moving on. We can now keep track of not only our animals, but our volunteers, our adopters, notes from our veterinary appointments, and more - in just a few clicks! It's so easy! PetPoint has eased our adoption process not only for us, but for our adopters, as well. With the 24PetWatch Microchip and the ShelterCare Gift Policy automatically being registered, it allows our adopters to focus on the animal once in the home, rather than having to sort out paperwork. Also, our monthly reports that are required for the Maddie’s Pet Rescue Project have become tremendously easier to generate. As a high-volume, no-kill animal shelter, it seems there are never enough hours in the day. There are so many positives regarding PetPoint
There are so many positives regarding PetPoint and the daily difference it makes for our operation. Efficient and quick access to data, user friendly data entry, easy to view screens and reliable reporting of data are just a few of the benefits. Not having to write separate Crystal reports to collect and present data is a huge plus. PetPoint Customer Service Representatives are knowledgeable and dependable, and the PetPoint team is willing to listen and implement new ideas to improve the product.

I wouldn't recommend any other shelter management software
I have now been instrumental in setting up PetPoint in two very different shelters, one a high volume, urban, animal control shelter and the other a suburban, low volume, limited admission shelter. PetPoint's comprehensive yet flexible system allowed it to be implemented seamlessly in two very different environments. The amazing support team, seamless integration of microchip registration, immediate upgrades and constant improvements are light years ahead of other companies' products. At this point I wouldn't recommend any other shelter management software.

The Conway Area Humane Society first started using PetPoint in April 2006. We could not believe the ease and efficiency in the use of the program. It helps us on a day-to-day basis not only in the ease of entering animals into the system and the adoption process but also in the recording of any monies that enter the building. It is a great "check and balance" to our paper accounting. We have also found it most useful in maintaining a viable mailing list; something which any (non-profit) shelter must have! PetPoint also makes filling out those state statistics very easy with their Asilomar report. We would cheerfully recommend PetPoint to any animal care facility that is looking for a new program.

...we never have to worry about software becoming outdated
The Humane Society of Elmore County has used PetPoint since early summer of 2007 and plans on sticking with it for the long-term. PetPoint has not only allowed us to better track our animals, but is a wonderful tool to track people and how they have interacted with the shelter. Being able to pull up a person’s name to see if they have adopted pets from us before, turned in animals previously, are donors, or are sadly people we might not want to adopt to is extremely valuable as this kind of information was extremely difficult to track manually. The ShelterCare health insurance is a tremendous bonus for our adopters – while we hope we never adopt a pet that will get sick, it can happen and the health insurance can make a huge difference to the adopter being able to keep and treat that pet or having to return it to the shelter. With PetPoint being a server-based program, we never have to worry about software becoming outdated and the PetPoint help desk personnel are very responsive and open to new ideas and suggestions as PetPoint grows and evolves. This ability to dynamically improve PetPoint makes it the hands-down winner to any other non-server based program in our eyes.
